Made  to measure for any production requirement

Akomag machines have an appealing design, with a more compact structure compared to similar machines available on the market. Furthermore, they need reduced  maintenance, which can be performed by the operating staff. For each  production Akomag uses only guaranteed, top-quality materials. “All our machines are made-to-measure”, explains Marco Triulzi, one of the company’s partners with  Rino Spotti and  Renato Sivelli. “Since the begin- ning, eight years ago, we have been producing only custom-built machines”. Every Akomag machine features all adjustments and improvements that may be necessary to meet customer’s needs, developed thanks to the close co-operation between Akomag and its customers. “With each customer”, Triulzi goes on, “we establish a close relationship based on mutual confidence. Our technicians have a long experience gained over the years; before starting with the machine construction, we perform an on-site surveys at the customer’s facilities to acquire a better knowledge of his specific production requirements. Drawings at hand, our technicians study the best-suited technical solutions”. These solutions may be determined by the special requirements of a specific sector. In the case of milk and dairy industries, for instance, milk bottles require particularly effective washing cycles, ensuring that the bottles are perfectly  clean.  To this purpose, special  detergents are required for perfect bottle disinfection, however without contaminating the end product. The fruit-juice sector, on the other hand,  considers it a basic issue to remove  all sugar  residues with high-pressure pre-rinsing treatments before the bottle are washed. In the case of wine, all tartaric  residues must be removed, whereas beer re- quires the removal of yeasts. “Last year”, Triulzi adds, “for a Thai customer we produced a bottle washer with a 99.99% drying capacity, because the exiting bottle had to be perfectly dry for the filling with mayonnaise”.

Partnership with customers

The design  phase  is followed  by real construction of the  ma- chine. Akomag assembles all components in the facilities of  Soragna. The completed machine, prior to its shipment and installation at the Customer’s, is accurately tested.  “A very important issue for us, once the machine has been installed in the customer’s facilities”, explains Triulzi, “is its start-up and staff training. Before the machine reaches  the real production capacity it usually takes one week. From this moment on, we offer our “help” service to our customers and are always pleased to receive their comments on our machines. We intend to be the partners of our customers rather than simple suppliers”. From the partnership to continuous dialogue with customers, through the acknowledgement of production problems and requirements, Akomag develops latest solutions, which are implemented on the whole range of washing machines proposed by the Parma-based Company.

Bottle-washers

Akomag’s range  includes  bottle washers – for return  and new bottles – suitable  for all end-users active in the sectors of wine, mineral waters, liqueurs, beers, beverages, fruit-juices, and milk. These  machines can  meet  all production requirements, from small outputs to high-production capacities up to 60,000 b.p.h. The “Genesi” line, for instance, is directed to companies having small outputs from  500 to 4,000 b.p.h., whereas the “Taurus” series covers the medium-low range  with  outputs ranging  between 1500 and 6000 b.p.h, and the “Hydra” series the medium-high range up to 50,000 b.p.h. “Hydra HP” models are developed for high production speeds,  up to 60,000 b.p.h.

Genesi Models

The machines of the Genesi series are continuous machines of small overall dimensions. Thanks to their modular construction, designed according to customer’s needs for low outputs, Genesi machines provide high flexibility, and can be adapted to various products as wine, milk, beer, oil, etc. The washing cycle is very simple  though  effective, and  contributes to cut running costs while providing  excellent results.

 -

Taurus Models

Taurus  models  have the same properties of Genesi models  but are designed  for higher productions.

 -

Hydra Models

Hydra models integrate all automatic machines of the last generation, designed for medium-high productions meeting the needs of customers requiring high-quality washing and  latest  technological  solutions. A peculiarity  of this series is the pre-wash spraying and pre-soak bath followed by a long spraying followed by a long deterging  bath.

 -

Hydra HP Series

Hydra HP – where  HP means  “high production” – is Akomag’s top series.  These models  are the greatest technological expression ever reached in the bottle-washing sector. Hydra machines feature the highest level of bottle-washing automation, allowing remote operation by just one operator for the whole washing cycle, as well as control of the operations, speed and consumption via sophisticated and reliable control systems.

 -

Next  to bottle-washers

The bottle-washing range  includes  also “Pixis” rinsers,  devel- oped  for new  glass bottles  and  containers through a dipping process, and “Fury” case-washers; all of them are full-automatic machines, available  in different  sizes and models,  according  to specific production requirements.
